About Me
Hi! My name is Ashley, the doula behind Sacred Bellies. Sacred Bellies was started from a place of deep love- love for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and most of all family. I am here to offer unwavering support to families during one of the most sacred times in life- the journey into parenthood. I have seen how much of a difference it makes to have someone beside you. Not to direct the path, but to walk it with you. Someone who listens without judgement, supports your decisions, and provides evidence-based information along the way. This package is great for those who want prenatal support and childbirth education but don’t want any additional labor and postpartum support.
Pregnancy Support Package
This is the standard package that gives you access to all of the support and education throughout pregnancy as well as in labor and during your postpartum journey.
Enhanced Birth Package
Bringing home a new baby can be both joyful and challenging. As your postpartum doula, I offer calm, compassionate support to help you rest, heal, and adjust with confidence.
Basic Birth Package
The Enhanced Birth Package provides all of the benefits of the Basic Birth Package with additional opportunities for support and care to help ease you into this new chapter in life.

What is a doula?
A doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to people before, during, and after childbirt.

Will a doula replace my partner?
A doula does NOT replace your partner or your birthing team! A doula supports everyone involved. We help partners feel confident, and supported in their role and offer guidance to ensure everyone is working together as a team.

Do doulas support epidurals or c-sections?
Yes! As a doula, we support all of your birth choices, not specific “type” of birth.

Whats the difference between a midwife and a doula?
A midwife provides medical care. They focus on the clinical side of things like vitals, monitoring labor, and delivering the baby. A doula is here to provide emotional, physical, and informational support. We offer comfort measures, breathing techniques, and reassurance.

What are some benefits of having a doula?
Research shows that having a doula offers many benefits. Some of those benefits include; Shorter labor, reduced need for intervention, higher satisfaction with the birth experience, lower c-section rate, etc.
